What is LEGO® Technic™?

Through mighty mechanisms or fine-tuned finesse features, LEGO® Technic™ makes things work. Behind each set are 3 principles: authenticity (like making our vehicles feel as lifelike as possible), functionality (like creating engines that work just like in the real world) and challenging (to give you the most rewarding build experience possible)!

What makes the LEGO® Technic™ system unique?

What is the hardest LEGO Technic set to build?

There are several LEGO Technic sets designed for grown-up hands! For example, the App-Controlled Cat® D11 Bulldozer, one of our construction toys weighing in at a whopping 3,854 pieces! Just one look at it will show you how complex it is to create. Another 18+ set can be found among our motorbike toys – the fiendishly tricky BMW M 1000 RR.

Be sure also to check out the LEGO Technic Ultimate Car Concept series, where we make our most authentic replicas of famous car models. The latest in this series of specialist car toys is the Ferrari Daytona SP3.

Of course, when it comes to challenging LEGO builds in general, we think that award might have to go to the 1:1 LEGO Bugatti Chiron, which took 6 months, 13,000 work hours and over 1,000,000 pieces… and which was actually able to drive!

Is LEGO Technic Fun?

Of course! That’s if you think that F1 cars, speedy shark monster trucks, remote-controlled vehicles, or the world’s most incredible supercars can be considered ‘fun LEGO sets’…

What Age is LEGO Technic for?
  • LEGO Technic sets make the perfect gift for all kids and adults. And – like our entire range – they are just as suited to being toys for girls as they are toys for boys.
Is LEGO Technic for Adults?
